Been eating around 1200 calories daily for the last 5 years not knowing that when I lost weight 5 years ago I should have went back to a maintenance. I can only loose any type of weight or see any results if I eat like 900-800 calories. I am now slowly reverse dieting my way up to 2000 maintenance to have a better quality of life and eat sustainably.
My question is if I reverse diet for 5 months from Dec 2020-end of April 2021 ( eat at 2000 cals whole month of April) if in May I start to eat in a deficit to try to cut some weight for summer is that enough time to reverse for? Will my body respond?
