So I’ve always been able to lose weight but I want to keep my muscle so I’m going to do this cut with that in mind.
So in order for me to lose 1 pound a week which will be my goal I need 2100 calories. I’m 5”8 155 pounds will be going down to 145. I may stop earlier if I like my definition at a higher weight.
My macros will be P 155g C 104 and F 118. I didn’t want to cut carbs out as I got used to eating them on the bulk and I am hitting my minimums on protein and fat so I should be fine.
Now with my workout I’ve been doing F5 for so long and I’ve gotten my numbers as follows
Deadlift 230
Bench press 135
Squat 175
OHP 80
I don’t want to have to lower the weight because I’ve heard that’s the wrong way to cut because by doing that you tell your body you don’t need the muscle anymore and you will lose some of it. So with that being said is it possible for me to still keep these numbers on a cut and possibly even continue to improve them?
