Empowered committee to discuss proposal to allow export of ‘covid care’ medical devices

The health ministry has proposed allowing the export of Covid-19-related medical products such as goggles, face shields, masks, ventilators and non-surgical aprons, having built a sufficient buffer of these items and to prevent manufacturers saddled with inventory from closing their plants due to a lack of local orders.
