Protein Macro issues for cutting

Okay so I’m having an issue with a new macro I’m trying rn. I got off of bulking probably 4 months ago. Haven’t really been following a set plan since I’ve just been lifting and eating pretty much whatever. So I decided to start a new cutting macro. I’m about 5’6” 155 ish lbs and probably 15-18% bf at the moment. Usually I just start dropping calories like crazy to drop down but figured I’d try and keep muscle this time. My macro is 150p 260c 45f. The problem I’m having is stuffing myself full with 150g of protein a day. I get to the point where I just can’t eat anymore and then the next day I don’t want to start eating again. I usually don’t eat that much in a day to begin with and now I’m just packing it in. At the same time I met my protein macro and still only had about 1300 calories which is pretty far below my goal of like 2000 for cutting. My goal is to get down to 10%. I have no problems with my workouts it’s just all nutrition that I fall short on. So the point is do I need 150g of protein a day? I know the golden rule is 1g per lb of bw but this feels like I’m going to gain weight stuffing myself with protein.
