Novavax to apply for emergency use authorisation (EUA) of Covid shot in the US before year end

Pune-based Serum Institute of India (SII) had applied to the Indian drug regulator in August for EUA for the launch of Covovax. However, its approval has taken longer in the absence of regulatory approval for the vaccine in the US.
