Hey, new guy here.
So in 2018/19 I was 400 pounds. I then lost the weight and git to 205 pounds. However, the loose skin is causing all sorts of problems with my mental health. I thought I'd build by myself up with muscle to fill out the loose skin. Iv been working out with my PT now for a little over a month..might gained strength but iv stepped on the scales and iv put close to 15 pounds on. Before, my diet consisted of very little protein and I wasn't lifting weights. I'm now lifting weights and on higher protein (150g). At 6ft 5 I'm eating 2800 calories. I know iv not put 15 pounds of muscle on in 1 month...but how the hell have I gained 15 pounds. Is it fat? This is making me feel like there is no point training because its making me heavier and probably fat? What should I do? Rhe only things that have changed is that I'm lifting weights and eating more protein.
