Hello, im a guy of 68.5kg, 179cm, im 24 years old.
I have been going to the gym for 6 months.
I have gained a considerable muscle mass, I have calculated that about 2kgs even on a diet.
I have been doing cardio 7 days a week on the treadmill, for 40 minutes at 18% incline, 6.5khm, after every workout.
I train 6 days a week, 3 days, rest and repeat.
I train the same muscle group twice a week with their respective ones, 48h - 72h of rest between muscle groups, on the rest day I do active recovery basically I do abdomen and treadmill.
I have calculated that just between walking on the treadmill and going to and from the gym I burn 1000 kcal, not counting the rest of training and daily activity, laundry, preparing meals, cleaning the house, etc.
I recently started eating 3000 kcal more or less, maybe a little more, I will have eaten those 3000 kcal for 3 weeks, some more another day less.
I really do not count the calories because from doing so much diet and more or less I know how many calories each food has and the portions that I should eat and I always eat the same so if I want more calories I put more food.
I recently had a crappy scan on a machine in my gym, which told me it had a bmr of 1920 kcal.
After putting ourselves in the situation a bit, how do you see the situation?
If my bmr is 1920kcal, I consume 3000kcal maybe more, does it mean that I am in a deficit? what I do? does the cardio and the walking to the gym and coming back to my house count as deficit?
I have thought about reducing the amount of cardio to 4 days or even 3, and now I am not working, if I was working I don't know how I would do to gain weight because my work is physical, I am a technician in events, such as concerts, etc..
Any advice is welcome, thank you.
