I train in the morning straight after waking up. Currently training for around 3-4; years in the upper lower split.
I normally have 1 banana, a glass of water with a caffeine tablet (approx 150mg) and 20 minutes later I train.
Does this sound like a decent/acceptable pre workout or anything else I should add?
I have read threads where some state to have BCAAs other suggest it's not needed, others state to have beta alanine with creatine but BA will eventually need to be weaned off so the body doesn't get used to it and creatine is not really needed as often.
Is there any advice anyone can provide as to what is considered as a must have ingredients for a pre workout?
