Uninterrupted sleep issues

I'm posting this directly to the nutrition section because my sleep issues have started ever since resuming working out 14 weeks ago, starting out on a caloric deficit. I've averaged 0.5% bodyweight loss weekly and consume around 1g/lb of bodyweight of protein, so the caloric deficit and protein shouldn't be an issue (or so I think). I also never go to bed hungry, but my caloric deficit isn't that big anyway.

I'm trying to get 7-8 hours of sleep and have been going to bed earlier, and just a few days ago started drinking chamomile tea with 1mg of melatonin before going bed. The problem is that I consistently wake up after around 4 hours of sleep and then have trouble getting back to sleep. This night I woke up at 4am and spent 2 hours up till 6am turning around in bed not being able to go back to sleep! I don't really have any life stresses right now.

Basically I'm looking for some pointers/remedies as I'm sure some of you have experienced this before. When I was unfit a few months ago I never had this problem - although I don't particularly enjoy sleeping, I still managed to sleep 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
