Female here. I’m on a lean bulk and am aiming for 2,400 calories daily. However I like to have a couple days out of the week where I can eat more and have more flexibility since I have a huge sweet tooth & tend to eat more on weekends specifically. So my high calorie days will allow me to fit in the sweets/foods I want while staying in my calorie range instead of eating 2,400 daily and having to be so strict to make sure I don’t go over those calories. I’ve tried fitting small amount sweets into my 2,400 calories and it just makes me want more so I rather have none on my low calories days and be able to eat a satisfying amount on my high calories days(assuming I’ve hit my protein intake)
My week looks something like this:
•1,800 calories 5x a week
•3,900 calories 2x a week
This will even out to 2,400 calories daily. Will this affect my bulk at all in terms of body composition? Will I still be able to make good gains eating this way??
