Does it make much difference, timing sugar for ample workout energy or taking advantage of slow-digesting carbs?
Mostly all I find are articles that say that complex carbs are better for your energy because they are more complicated and thus harder and longer to break down, but there's never any precise differentiation or practical examples on how it affects your energy.
Also, I've heard about having a proper balance of complex carbs opposite simple carbs, which could make sense for health or digestion purposes. Anything true to that?
