Mandaviya asks MSME pharma firms to move towards good manufacturing practices through self regulation

Union minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, has told representatives of the pharmaceutical industry that Schedule M, which requires adherence to good manufacturing practices, will be mandatory for smaller firms in a phased process. The move follows the minister's call for greater self-regulation amongst the domestic pharma industry, which he said had helped create India's position in quality production.
