I mean the drinks that are usually sold in refrigerators at convenience stores and the gym: Bang, C4, Reign, Amino, Celsius, and similar drinks. Every single one of them makes me sick to my stomach. Today, I drank a can of Reign before driving to the gym and got diarrhea by the time I reached the gym. I couldn't exercise because of it. I wanted to know if other people have these sorts of reactions and, if anybody knows, what in these drinks causes it. Also, what is a good alternative to them? Is coffee viable? Would powdered preworkouts cause the same reaction? I ate a bread with peanut butter and honey before heading to the gym last week, and I was able to reach my max squat, something that I never tried without drinking an energy drink before then.
