i have a friend who is struggling with that issue, he is small guy just 5'6" and really skinny at about 130 lbs
he sedentary except when he works-out
so naturally the best advice for him is to eat a lot more calories than what he burns
he tried to up his calories first by 500 calories above maintenance then 1000 then 2000 above his maintenance which was 2000 so now hes is eating 4000 calories a day
still no weight gain !!
but he gained a lot of strength and endurance
i thought maybe its malabsorption or maybe he is over estimating how much he its but no! its neither
so what do you think about that ? where is the problem ?
