So I’m confused as to what to do. I see people saying what protein levels are good, but it doesn’t allow for proper mass gain from what I understand. We need more calories for more size right? So if I eat the recommended protein intake, I’m simply not able to bulk up without adding a ridiculous amount of fat or carbs.
But then they also say keep fat low with high carbs. Using that logic, my protein and fat have to stay at a certain level, While id have to eat 600+ carbs daily to bulk.
I’m currently at 3400 cals.
Carbs are 380g (43%)
Fat is 113g (30%)
Protein is 239g (28%)
Now in terms of spacing this out, from what I research, I’m almost spot on. 40,30,30. But as you can see, for someone who weighs 162lbs, my protein is HIGH. But I’m not able to bulk properly without this. If I lower protein I’m literally shaving off hundreds of calories which ruins a bulk and I don’t want to eat so many carbs I feel way too bloated.
