Hello there!
Tomorrow gyms here in my country will finally reopen after almost three months of being closed during lockdown and I'm pretty confused about what's the best thing for me to do.
I'm 18 6'2" 161 lbs. Last year/year and a half I was ~198lbs and had to follow a strict diet because of a stomach disease (I won't go into details, I'm fine now) and lost that much weight.
At the beginning of December 2019 I started going to the gym and I took it pretty seriously working out 3 to 5 days a week, getting proper rest and tracking my calories intake (around 2600cals per day, my maintenance tdee according to online calculators, even though I'm pretty sure I was eating a little more than that because I was making mistakes calculating some calories).
Results were pretty fast to come, but unfortunately coronavirus spread and I had to stop. I tried working out at home doing body weight excercises and some cardio, but that's nowhere close to what I was doing in the gym.
So my question now that gyms are back is whether I should just keep doing what I was doing before, so eating at maintenance (is that a recomp?) or try something else that would get me better results? I'm a little scared of bulking though since even after my weight loss I still have some belly fat and a little fat on my legs (it's really not that much, people don't even notice it and call me slim, but to me as an ex-overweight person it's like an obsession). Should I maybe try a cut to reach a low bf and lean bulk from there?
I hope I didn't sound stupid with anything I said, if so feel free to correct me: any advice is welcome.
If you need pictures of my body I will post it.
Thank you in advance, have a nice day.
