Seeking input

Hey all, I have been around a while but I usually just track workouts on bodyspace. I'd like some help/input.
Basic info: Male, 5'6", 38 y.o.

I have struggled with my weight my entire life. I had a very sedentary childhood. In my early 20s I did a hard weight cut and gained muscle mass. Over the years that has gone back up due to lack of care on my part I am 38 and really ready to make a change. before Rona hit, I was living on my own in Korea. I had a motorcycle accident in 2018 that shattered my ankle. Due to that and other circumstances I let myself get up to 226lbs (I don't know my fat at that point). in 2020 due to rona I moved back to the states and in with my parents. Leaving soon, which is a great thing. In 2020 I went from 226lbs and now I sit between 177 and 180 (179 most days). It has been a huge cut but I am not fully happy. I would like to get down to 170-175. It has always been easy for me to gain/bulk and stupid hard to cut. I don't know if that is because of the sedentary lifestyle or just body type.

I was going to the gym about 4 days a week but now, due to circumstances outside my control, I go 3 if I am lucky. I like the Dorian Yates blood and guts program, it is kinda my default exercise routine.

For nutrition, I try eating keto mostly and I try eating between 10 and 6 every day. After my last bit of weight loss, I have found that I do light snacking at night (after 6) but this is usually carrots or pork rinds. For daily nutrition I try and take in between 1300 and 1500 calories a day. i am trying to teach myself how to do things better. Also, my family is HORRIBLE about have snacks and junk food in the house. I feel like an alcoholic living in the liquor store. I have been, generally good about my intake though. Sugar has always been by weakness. Meals usually look like the following:

B.Fast (10AM): 1/2 avo, 2 scrambled egg (or 3 bacon, or 3 sausage small sausage), and a handful of blueberries (or 1/2 grapefruit), coffee
Snack (12PM): handful almonds (or pork rinds)
Lunch (2PM): 4oz baked chicken breast, cherry tomatoes (or broccoli or Brussel sprouts), 1 Bang energy drink
Snack (4PM): steamed apple with cinnamon and stevia
Dinner (5:30-6PM): 4 oz chicken, (veggies), coffee
I drink water throughout the day. I like carbonated stuff so usually its been bubly or perrier

So, I do this diet because right now living with my folks this is easy to prep for myself. It feels really clean but my weight seems to have basically plateaued. Also, I am finding (in the last week or so) I have several high hunger days where I can't seem to feel satiated (I do stop eating though). I don't know if this is because of my body adjusting to things or if i should see a dr. because it seems weird. Also, I have pondered doing TRT but I dunno. It just feels weird that I can't seem to get lower. I know to get lower I need a caloric deficit.

ANYWAY, sorry for the long post. just trying to give detail. i guess my question (if there is one): for anyone more knowledgeable than myself, am I on the right track? I know basics of exercise and nutrition but It helps having people to bounce ideas off of. TIA, all!

Advice (wanna get ripped)

10 AM in the morning i eat:

1 avocado
1 banana with a table spoon of peanut butter.

_________________________________________

Lunch time I run for 25 minutes (jogging).

Then I do like 15 sets of 6 repetitions of pullups.

So a total of 90 pullups.

Then 5 sets of 20 repetitions knee raises for my abs.

After my workout i drink a protein shake with:

24g Protein
150 Calories
2g Fat
12 Carbohydrates

Then i eat:

2 yellowfin tunas which each has:

130 Calories
1.5g Fat
25g Protein

With diced onion, olive oil and lemon juice and some jalapeno pepper.

That above is basically my meal for the day, sometimes i substitute the yellowfin tuna for 2 chunk light tunas in water which each has:

140 calories
1g Fat
31g Protein

Or for 2 albacore tunas which each has:

80 Calories
17g Protein
1g Fat

Sometimes i eat it with 2 pieces of baked chicken leg.

___________________________________________

Night time i eat like a banana. Thats it.

Every other day im not jogging im doing 6 sets of:
h t t p s:// darebee.com/workouts/pushup-massacre-nc17-workout.html

And biceps, then sometimes shoulders.
I switch it up and do chinups instead of pullups sometimes.
Got shoulder issues so cant do dips.

TL;DR
Dont recommend me any other food as I'm in a camp and my diet is restricted.
Ideas for recipes for food with the below ingredients are very welcome.
Only other foods available in this camp are:

Oatmeal
Carrots
Sweet potato
Plantain
Tomatos
Sweet green peppers
Jalapeno peppers
Potatoes
Rice
Peanuts
Raisins
Smoked salmon
Waterlight tuna
Mackaral fish
Yellowfin tuna
Albacore tuna
Sardine
Mozarella cheese
Olive oil
Onions
Lemon juice

thats it as far as healthy food.

If I continue my routine as I described above, am I going to lose my belly and get ripped?

I wanna get ripped and get a six pack in 6 months time.

Thoughts/comments

Thanks !

Is lactose "bad" sugar ?

Hello, i have a question. Im student, so im eating on a budget. To hit my daily protein intake, i eat a lot of dairy (mainly milk, protein powder, yoghurts etc.). Thing is that every of those products have low fat, but it has plenty of sugar. Of course i eat oats, rice etc. but i feel like around 50-70g of my carbs are from lactose. I have no problem with lactose, i can drink a liter of milk no problem, but my question is, if it okay from muscle building point of view to have like 70grams of milk sugar from around 250 g of carbs ? Is it still used as energy for workout, or is it better to regulate it and eat more oats for example ? Ty

Average 12%

The issue is I have a very thin frame (6.5 inch wrists), and I already am on the smaller side muscle wise (13.5" arms). That being said, I have no abs visibility, and am not sure whether there'd be benefit to cutting before bulking. If bulking is the better idea, is there an ideal weight I should aim for? Thanks.

Elvis's favorite sandwich bb style

With all the Beatles talk in the other thread i thought about the King and his favorite sandwich, fried peanut butter and banana.

I didn't make this tonight but did make it in the past since i had the bread.

I used:

2 slices p28 protein bread
two tablespoons natural peanut butter
one mashed ripe banana

washed it down with a glass of ultra filtered skim milk (fairlife brand)

came out to about 50 grams of protein and tasted amazing

not quite as delicious as what the King enjoyed as a late night snack but still pretty good.

Surplus, Deficit, or Maintain?

Give me some input guys. Gained lots of fat during quarentine. But cut like crazy in 2 months and put back on some muscle mass.

I am 5’9” 240. 32% BF

Should I go on a surplus to just pack on some muscle. Or just continue to cut and just try to lift as much as possible.

I know 32% is still a little excessive. But last time I dropped to 190/22% gaining was hard. No more some of this skinny fat bull****. I want mass.

Please advise from your experience.

Gained only 2 kg in 9 months

Hey guys, I'm 21, 177cm, 77-78kg and I aim muscle gain. This is my third year now and I've been bulking for 2 years. I do 2 muscles per day with high weight and low reps (6-8 reps). I aim to eat approx. 150g protein in a day or maybe every second day, but as for carbs I don't track them and I think i eat 300g carbs per day maybe (but I might be wrong). My question is why i haven't gained any good weight these months ? When I started I was 53kg and gained nearly 30kg, but I want to go more. Is this because I lose fat and gain muscle or I don't make any progress anymore ? Thanks :D
