During quarantine, I gained a lot of weight, from 174 to 207 lbs. I started getting back to my diet 2 months ago (without cardio or work out; only strict calorie intake) and I am now weighing 195-196 lbs. I was consistently losing 2 lbs a week while I adjust my calorie as I lose weight (or plateau).
6 days ago, I started lifting weights again, (around 50 mins in the gym), but my weight never went down below 195 lbs and got stuck at 195-197 lbs.
May I ask if going back to the gym affected my weight loss? Is it because my muscles are going back and regaining their form(like muscle memory) again? Making it hold water or what.
