So I’ve read on the forums that high sodium is bad because of water retention which is going to mess up the ripped look. I was shredded at 137 pounds and I was doing a Keto diet back then and was at about 5000mg of sodium and still had crazy definition.
I was 10% BF granted but with a lot of people saying high sodium will make you look less defined I don’t get how. Maybe because carbs and sodium react badly together which is what makes water retention happen but if you’re on Keto you’re not getting any carbs anyway so maybe that’s why.
What are your guys average for sodium intake? For me it’s super important I can see my abs really good and if sodium is really that big of a deal I can work on it but it never effected me on Keto
