My doc is recommending her Amway protein powder for my health issue - advice?

I'm 35/male, 166 lbs, I look skinny when clothed but underneath I have a stomach and some face/neck fat. I don't drink/smoke but for most of this year I've haven't been eating healthy consistently due to stress (no, not the COVID crisis, I wish it were only that -- but due to my wife's unemployment/job hunting and me being the only income). Fitness wise, my goal is to get back to the gym and build muscle.

My heart doctor did various tests on me -- bloodwork, echo, EKG, you name it.... So basically, my good cholesterol is low and my bad cholesterol is high, my lung capacity is "slightly diminished", and I have a "minimal amount" of plaque in my carotid arteries. She is recommending a lifestyle change for 4 weeks, this includes yoga, exercise, and a healthier diet. She gave me a detailed food menu to reference from and general guidelines of "no saturated fat/fat free".

Furthermore, she recommends krill oil, daily multivitamin, and lastly, a daily protein shake consisting of plant-based protein powder. She was trying to encourage me to buy those three supplements from her Amway business (which I had no idea she was apart of, I used to be in it many years back, hated it). I can get the krill oil and multivitamin from a drug store or GNC for cheaper, but I need advice about this plant protein powder. Her's is called "Nutrilite" and it's like $46, only 5 grams of protein in 1 scoop, but no saturated fats. I would love to post a link but I don't have 50 posts on here, but you can just google "Nutrilite All Plant Protein Powder" to see what I'm talking about (sorry).

I told her I have Whey protein, she said no whey, only plant based. The one i have is Myprotein whey impact protein powder. Honestly, is whey protein really gonna make my problem worse? Or is she right? If the latter, can anyone recommend a good plant-based one that's not crazy expensive?
