Hey, kinda new here and this is my first post but basically I gained a bit of weight (5 to 10 lbs) during this quarantine time since I haven't been in the gym in about a year or so before hand and i'm around 190 lbs now (6'0)
I wanted to get back into the gym habit but this time start with a cut which I've never done before so I did a lot of research on that and started going.
I'm about 2 weeks into going back and I've yet to lose any weight, i'm doing a basic push pull legs routine and not doing too much cardio (heard you should wait until you really need it)
As for my eating, i started off with around 2100 calories the first weak high protein/carbs low fat and i didn't see any weight loss so i dropped it down to about 1800 taking away some of the carbs and i'm still not seeing any progress at all. I started measuring my waist as well for the past 4 days or so and have not seen any progress there either.
I've been the best I could be about measuring calories as I bought a scale and have been as accurate as possible, do I need more cardio? is my metabolism just messed? or have I just been miscounting? any advice is appreciated on what I should do for this third week.
