I measured my blood sugar today a few times. In the morning it was 84, then I ate 60 grams of oatmeal and it went to 114 after an hour. Then I worked out on my upper body routine,
( 4x8 bench press, incline bench, lat pull down, bent over row, vertical press, 10 negative pullups and 10 negative dips with weight)
Then I did a cool down of hitting the double end ball for 15 minutes. Then I measured my blood suger and it was 92. Then I ate 50 grams of cornflakes with 40 grams of whey. In an hour I am going to measure the blood sugar again.
So now my question, what would be a good result after the post workout meal. Ive heard you should eat a lot of carbs to spike insulin, so my blood sugar should be around 140 or something or higher?
