Has anyone tried or thought about trying Huel Black Edition? The contents seem awesome as meal replacements, moreso beneficial if cutting. High protein, low carb. There is the regular edition that is also high carb. I’ve been wanting to get away from solid foods for a few months for a few reasons.
I have too many food sensitivities, so it’s annoying constantly trying to eat as clean as possible while hardly enjoying what I consume anyway.
I’ve been feeling almost sick to my stomach just thinking about having a meal consisting of solid foods most times. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t even want to eat most times and would really just prefer something in liquid form. I’m aware that liquid food won’t taste well to most, but I’ve already been eating bland and weird tasting food for years.
Eating solid food has just gotten boring and repetitive at this point. It also feels unnecessary most of the time. I’ve slowly been switching to protein shakes more often, “as healthy as can be” nutrition shakes, anything in liquid form so I don’t have to eat solid foods.
Basically, Huel being complete meals to prepare as a shake just seems like the best option. The supposed nutritional value it has sounds amazing also as it would make it so much easier to get in everything I need without all the hassle. I’m sure I’ll probably crave solid foods from time to time and will just eat solid food when I do, but diet has been becoming more about fuel than anything else over time anyway.
I can’t see this as typical thing a bodybuilder would go for, but if anyone did have experiences or similar feelings about this, I suppose it would help me not feel too outsideish for wanting to make this choice. Thanks in advance for any sound advice or thoughts/support.
