I have been on a 3000 calorie diet for the last month and a half. I have seen a weight increase of 0.5kg per week. I used to workout 6 days a week, one muscle group per day, 5-6 exercises of 3 sets each per muscle group. Height is 5ft 8”, weight is 71kg. My macronutrient ratio is:
Protein: 225gm (30%)
Carbs: 375gm (50%)
Fat: 67gm (20%)
Now due to certain commitments, I cannot workout out as much. I am thinking of working out 3 days a week, 2 muscle groups per day, 5 exercises per muscle group. I want to know if I should reduce my caloric intake on rest days? I was thinking around 2800 calories on rest days and 3000 calories on workout days keeping the same macronutrient ratio. Should I do this or should I keep on with the 3000 calorie diet throughout the week?
