So I'm currently bulking. I woke up hungry; it's my day off. So I decided to order a basic pepperoni pizza. Papa Johns has their online calorie calculator. You can modify the pizza however you want, (light cheese, extra pepperoni, etc.) and it will give you an calorie count per slice. You can then go ahead and order the pizza online and get it delivered, which is what I did. I guess Papa John's idea of a large pizza is kinda on the smallish size. It looks more like a medium, but whatever.
When I added up the macros for the whole pizza, it comes to 2360 calories. But it does not feel like I just ate 2360 calories. I am still kinda hungry, and don't feel like I ate that much. Keep in mind, I went to bed hungry last night. Due to returning from a trip, I only got in like 1500 calories yesterday. That's why I wanted a large meal today. But even though I ate after having not eaten much, this isn't the first time I've felt like Papa John's pizza is less calories than what it says.
What the heck is going on here?
