Need some help with meal planning...

I'm 47 and work at home, so I can cook and prepare anything. Struggling to find simple and practical information on a meal plan that's not some hokey fad diet. Just looking for simple, accessible, financially viable meals that have some semblance of variety. My bodyfat is reasonable. 5'10" 190lbs. My main goal is continuing to increase strength and lean muscle mass while keeping good cholesterol levels (both hdl and ldl), reasonable resting hr. I'll never compete and don't care about ego. 100% practical. If I'm getting stronger and keeping injuries down, I'm happy.

Any info would be useful. Right now I'm generally hitting my protein goal per day and eat next to zero "junk" food. Most calories are from whole grain type carbs, lean protein (mostly chicken, eggs, skim milk, fish, and protein powder). It's just whenever I google or search for books on the subject, the information is overwhelming. I'm perfectly fine with a format that just lists "1 cup cooked oatmeal, 2 eggs" etc. and not some giant thesis on the chemical process behind it all.

Thanks!
