India might have to wait to vaccinate all its citizens. Here's why

India began vaccination against Covid-19 on January 16. In phase-I, only healthcare and frontline workers were eligible to get the vaccine. March 1 onwards, in phase-II, senior citizens and persons aged between 45 and 59 years with specified comorbidities were allowed to take the jab.
