India and South Africa demand waiver of certain provisions of Intellectual Property for Covid-19 therapeutics

This statement comes at a time when the race for Covid-19 vaccine is heating up across the world. Though most vaccine makers have received government funding to develop Covid-19 vaccines companies have remained firm that they won’t be giving up patents or the IP of these vaccines.
