Hi, Can someone point me in the right direction with how to workout calorie and protein intake, there is far toooooooooo much literature out there
This is my mains question , and there are two option to it
1 - I weight 206lb, my lean body weight after taking off the fat is 138.44 ( yes I have a high fat percentage, I am working on this! ). Now do I workout my calculations off the 206lb ( hence 0.8 grams of protein/ 2700 calories) or do I work from my index body weight 138.44 ??
2- If I shoot for 2700 calories but burn off 500 in the gym each day ( I alternate between legs and upper body every 48 hours), that means I have had 2200 ( 2700- 500) so technically I am calorie deficient so do I shoot for 3200 calories per day
I know this is you experts is a dumb question but it is hard for a beginner a answer to which is probably a straightforward set of questions
Any advise with reasoning behind it would be so helpful, and please keep it simple as the Youtube Videos I have watched are far tooo deep and siencey
