Clinicians need to look at chest X-rays, CT scans and blood counts to treat patients at healthcare facilities where laboratory testing facilities might not be available, according to T Jacob John, retired professor of virology at Christian Medical College, Vellore, and M Seshadri, medical director of the Thirumalai Mission Hospital in Ranipet, Tamil Nadu.
