Body recomp/Refeed days

This may sound extremely stupid but I've been reading up on the whole "build muscle and lose fat at the same time" thing and would this actually work for example say Monday-Friday I was in a 500 calorie deficit for me this would be around 2000 cals give or take as this would amount to 2500 cals over the 5 days on the last two would i "refeed" on the last two by dividing the amount of cals lost on the deficit days being 2500 divided by 2 getting 1250 and then adding 1250 cals to my last two days so on top of my maintenance if that makes sense meaning I would take in 3750 cals on them two days to equal it out. Any help on clearing this up would be appreciated and sorry if it doesn't make much sense (I'm also only 17 years old so I was thinking maybe the whole recomp thing would actually work).
