'Gambia hasn't found link between child deaths and Maiden syrups'

The regulator, Medicines Control Agency (MCA), has been investigating last month's mysterious child deaths that were thought to be linked to cough syrups made by Sonipat-based Maiden Pharmaceuticals. However, the real cause of the acute kidney injury cases linked to the child deaths is still "unknown", MCA told The Point newspaper.
