Alcohol to bulk.. Really??
Hi everyone. So since jan i decided to try bulking again.... Many years of failed attempts. Anyway i thought i was doin ok, weight went up by 14lbs over the course of 6 months, not too fast i dont think, lifts goin up, all gravy.

I've tried a few different types out there that are plant based, but have had some other reactions (like diarrhea).
This one tasted pretty good, but you had to constantly shake to get it to stay mixed and it did cause pooping:

I dont need it to be vegan or anything, but i do need it to be lactose free. So im hoping someone that's lactose intolerant can help recommend. During COVID ive lost some mass, so i'm looking to try and get some of it back as i kick up the home workouts a notch.

Water intake and water retention
I am really struggling with water retention. For a long time, I had been drinking loads of water, because I thought that you were supposed to in order to avoid water retention. Sometimes it did help, but usually I experienced that every single time I had some kind of diuretic in the evening (whether that was e.g. alcohol or coffee), it alwwaaays ensured that I woked up the next morning with no water retention or puffiness whatsoever.
For a period of time I have tried limiting my water intake, but now when I drink certain diuretic drinks the water retention get even worse! So it seems like these diuretics helps relief water retention when drinking loads of water, but not otherwise?
It is such a "weird" puffiness. Like I can feel it in the morning when I have it without even looking in the mirror. I feel this kind of pressure around my eyes. I am so extremely tired of this, and it is not just the "usual" water retention/puffiness from a little too much sodium. Here I just look completely off.
Anyone that knows what I can do ... ?

How to deal with hunger headaches?
Im so used to eating junk food in excess that now that when I eat less I get headaches. (The same type of headache you would get when you skip breakfast, lunch, etc or wait too long for the first meal).
I eat a good 2300 calories from good food, high in protein, but during this pandemic I've been eating lots of EXTRA chips and ice cream which probably total to 3500-4500 calories per day.
Decided to eat just the good and skip the ice cream but man it sucks ass.
Breakfast
- Chicken breast (150)(20g)
- Almond milk (225)(15g)
Lunch
- Steak and rice (650)(50g)
- Protein shake (240)(40g)
Snack
- Two yougurts with almond (450)(30g) (one serving of almonds, literally 12 almonds is 200 calories)
Dinner
- 4 eggs with a potato (280)(28g)
- Beans (250)(5g)
188g protein and 2300 calories
To me this is barely any food and its already 2300 calories smh.
Im 250lbs at the moment
Im good until after my snack when i get this extreme hunger at the end of the day. Not sure wtf to eat. i like tuna and its filling but I need at least 2oz to feel anything and I dont want to get mercury poisoning. I would swap the chicken to dinner but I hate chicken, its groce and for breakfast Im not hungry at all thats why its easy to eat a small amount.
Any tips?

I dont know what to do with that body am I sick? HEEEELP!!! (with pics)
Hey guys I have trained for 2 yrs. I mean 2 big years of regular workout 4-5 days per week. I was started as a skinny fat, made a lot of mistakes like yo-yoing between bulking and cutting and I failed at the end. I agree that and now its time to stand up and start once again without past mistakes. I gained 7 kgs in quarantine period now I am working out for 3 weeks after quarantine. I chose to start with full body workout with compounds 3days/week but whenever I stay alone with my body I figure out that I have anormal amount of fat.
I mean really a lot its not normal I guess I have an ilness or something. Many years ago when I was a child I was so fat therefore I think maybe this fatty shape of my body is from my childhood. No matter what I do there is always a bunch of fat on my belly, stomach and chest area.
I am 77 kgs , 179 cm tall and consume 2000-2100 calories daily. I dont know what to do. I am very soft. This is so bad. I feel depressed. No matter what programme I follow I have still that enormous amount of fat. I guess I am the king of skinny fat people. I look a little muscular with shirt but unbelievably soft without shirt when you touch my body. I shared my photos with you please help . Maybe I have some insulin resistance or something like that I guess this situation of mine is not that normal. Maybe I am sick.

Eating a cheat meal that’s slightly over maintenance. What will happen?
My maintenance is somewhere around 2400-2700 calories.
I’ve gone from 23%-19% bodyfat, and have been eating 90% clean, so I’m treating myself to:
1 Med Pepperoni Pizza
1 Carbonara Pasta Bowl
8 Pc Boneless Chicken
2820 cals
- 120g protein
- 303g carbs
- 126g fat.
What will happen with the surplus? Will the extra carbs and fat just go to fat stores since they’re so high? I know cals in vs cals out is most important, but I’m curious.
