As soon as I start working out my appetite skyrockets and I have a really hard time meeting the caloric needs required to build mass. I usually end up eating every hour and even though I feel hungry (it's like my body just consumes everything right away) I sometimes feel nauseous and can't eat, so I wait which ends up making me feel lightheaded because of the sugar drop (I think).
I literally have to wake up in the middle of the night to eat so I don't wake up feeling sick from hunger.
Long story short, I usually have to stop working out for a long while until my appetite and metabolism (?) get back to something normal.
I try to aim for eating high lean protein, high carb with lots of greens and oils while working out but am literally consuming in excess of 3000 calories and unable to sustain it over the long term unless I'm eating unhealthy bulk foods like lots of high fat burgers, lots of mac and cheese and potatoes.
The upside is that if I can keep up with the food my gains are super fast and super noticeable.
Am just wondering if there is a specific diet to help with this? Or am I just going to have to get used to eating tons of food around the clock? Will a supplement off-set the hunger and calorie requirements? Any recommendations?
