Nutrition Bulk Calories & Macros ?

Whats up !

So let met get to the point. Basically i was 83 KG in the start of 2018 and started cutting down on junk food, soft drinks and all that stuff and decided to get in shape again. Below are my currents stats;

Weight: 62.87KG
Bodyfat: 17%
Height: 165cm

Calorie intake: 2,550
carbs: 280G
fats: 70G
protein: 200G

I can say that considering I managed nutrition, and workout planning myself, I made a success on loosing weight. Even when I put on weight (lets say I go abroad or during festive season) I can easily control my total calorie intake and reduce it slightly and ill shed that extra weight pretty fast. I also had bought a body fat caliper, and now bought a xiaomi mi fit body scale which is quite a good deal considering its price ($70)

Now my problem is putting on weight! With my current macros I do put on weight, but barely 1 KG per month, and i do train properly, trust me, and i honestly look bigger but dont know if its actually bigger or else just getting leaner and the muscles show up more? I know, you'll probably say, just eat more, but yeah, 250G of chicken breast, with 200G of potatoes and 80G of veg is already too much as lunch for me, and i try eating every 3/4 hrs.

I focus on eating mostly wholegrain foods, stay away from greasy take outs and junk food etc, although when i have my cheat day, i make sure i enjoy it. Attached to this thread find 3 screenshots showing the foods i typically eat, also a screenshot of my current bodystats from the mi fit app and a progress collage picture.

What would your suggestions be? should i opt for food that is more dense in calories for example, include more nuts in my diet and continue increasing my calorie intake ? or just have patience and stay with the same intake and do a sort of "Lean bulk". The problem when i try to eat more is that it will be difficult to stay within a certain specific amount of carbs/fats/protein without going over on or the other.

Your suggestions and experiences are greatly appreciated ! Thanks :)

should I lean bulk or cut? - pleeeeeeeease help i am confused

Hi I am following a 5 by 5 program. My numbers are not good - (BP 140, S 180, D 195) but they are improving slowly. My question is should I cut or try lean bulk. since I am by and large skinny fat (attached picture) its very hard for me to put on muscle mass on a cut, not to mention raise weights according to 5by5 on a cut. i hav been training for just less than 1 year (i made the mistake of starting 5by5 a lot later though been on it for 6 months).

but as u can see i am still carrying quite a bit of bodyfat - 20 percent i'd say. but i feel if i can put one some more lean muscle on a small/slight bulk bf% will automatically come down. please share ur opinion. many thanks. attached picture.

Newbie!!!! Help!!!!!

Hi all I’m totally new to this so please your advice would be much appreciated

I’m recovering from gallbladder surgery, and am aloud to start attending the gym in next 4 weeks, I’m 36 years old, 5ft 9in and I’ve gone from 158lbs to 140lbs in last 8 months due to illness, and down to 18% body fat, I want to start weight training with a goal to get to a lean 150-155lb

I’ve confused myself greatly with looking at protein
intake, I’ve been thinking of 2 or 3 shakes a day with water or milk? An rest to be made up with diet, is this way the way to go? As I haven’t Weight trained before I’m gonna hire a PT with monthly reviews, also should I be doing any cardio or just weight training?

Many thanks in advance

Anyone dealt with Sibo b4 and Gallbladder issues?

Been on Keto diet for almost 2 years and felt pretty **** and was hard to stick to, caving in on cheat diets regularly.

Went a few days without sticking to diet and felt amazing, returned to keto diet and felt awful.

Realized the fat was the issue. Would get eczema type rashes everytime eating a fatty meal, would go away when i removed fats. Seems like a gallbladder issue.

Has anyone dealt with gallbladder problems and how did you remedy it/how long did it take to fix. I read ox bile/digestive enzymes will fix it?
