Pfizer India speaks up after Karnataka FDA crackdown, says patient safety is top priority

The Karnataka FDA canceled 16 drug licenses and suspended eight others due to counterfeit drugs. A raid uncovered an illegal operation repacking low-cost medicines as branded drugs, particularly Pfizer products. Pfizer has removed affected batches from the market and is cooperating with authorities in the investigation.
