India crosses 80 lakh HPV vaccinations in nationwide cervical cancer prevention drive

India has now administered over 80 lakh HPV vaccinations to girls. This significant milestone strengthens preventive healthcare and protection against HPV infection. The nationwide campaign, launched in February, targets fourteen-year-old girls for free vaccination. The Gardasil-4 vaccine is available at government health facilities across the country. Parental consent is mandatory for this voluntary immunization program.
