Day 1 of trying to lose weight

My day 1 consists of eating my breakfast as usual (I made no big changes yet with how I went on with my meal) but I 1 cup of water before eating. By lunch time, I still ate as usual with the same amount as I did but I drank 2 cups of water before eating. And by dinner, I didn't eat but I drank about 1-2 cups of water every time I felt hungry (which was 4 times).
