Centre allows Covid-19 vaccines granted emergency use approval in other countries

The decision has been taken to expand the basket of vaccines for India’s public immunisation drive. The issue of limited vaccine supply and increasing the pace of vaccination was discussed in a meeting of National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for Covid-19 (NEGVAC), chaired by NIti Aayog member (health) Dr V K Paul, on Sunday.
