I started running Starting Strength back in September all the way to December until gyms closed again due to a second lockdown.
I feel I made very good progress with the lifts and was consuming 3000-3500 calories and 180-200g protein a day.
However I haven’t been able to lift heavy since they closed so expect to have lost some strength. 😞
Gyms are reopening next week and I plan on resuming SS and building my strength back up.
However I’ve gained quite a bit of weight over the past few months and plan on doing a different routine for getting lean afterwards, whilst obviously being on a cut.
My question is do I need to worry about eating like before whilst regaining lost strength, considering muscle memory and the like?
I’ve been consuming 2000-2500 calories and 120-140g protein since last lifting, should I just keep doing this whilst regaining?
