Pharma firms asked for side-effects of common medicines

Carbimazole, used for thyroid issues, will highlight the risk of a life-threatening condition called agranulocytosis. Manufacturers must update package inserts and promotional materials. These changes follow recommendations from pharmacovigilance experts to ensure patient safety.
