IHH Healthcare claims 20 bn yen damages from Daiichi Sankyo for interference in Fortis Healthcare deal

Northern TK Venture Pte Ltd (NTK), a unit of Malaysia-based IHH Healthcare, has filed a lawsuit against Daiichi Sankyo in Tokyo District Court. The lawsuit seeks damages in excess of 20 billion Japanese yen, alleging interference in the stake purchase of Fortis Healthcare. IHH Healthcare has taken legal action against Daiichi Sankyo over the alleged interference in the Fortis Healthcare deal.
